Kobe Haters Blog

by Angelo on August 15th, 2006

Kobe Bryant. There are so many stars in the league but he seems to be the only one who is hated as much as he is loved. If you hate him then go on and share the hatred with teamplayer and asorto1 of the Kobe Haters Blog. It’s really hilarious!

If you love Kobe and think he’s the greatest player ever, no one is stopping you from going there and starting fights and online debates. Just make sure you’re up to the task and prepare to get insulted and put down by other commenters. This goes for the Kobe haters as well.

I should have written about this blog months ago when the season was still ongoing and the tension was very fresh. I was one of those guys who commented under anonymous like the others there. If you’ve been reading my earlier posts, you probably know I hate Kobe too. I approve of his talent (heck, he really might be the most talented player in the NBA) but I hate his attitude and personality and his selfishness (but he’s improving in this aspect so there’s hope for him yet).

Have fun with the Kobe Hate/Love!

I notice that many sports stores dont stock up with as many Kobe items as before, although he is still said to be a top draw. What is it with Kobe-lovers? Do they love the guy because he is a top gunner, who just happens to be a selfish self-centered SOB? Guys like Dwayne Wade are totally unselfish, totally committed to a team game…..and deserve much more adulation than a guy who surprises everyone when he finally decides to pass the ball.

When Kobe learns to finally be less selfish and more team-oriented, he may still have hope. Right now he totally sucks!

Who ever wrote this go can go jump off a bridge or something. Since selfish wade left the heat they have only lost two games. Hmm wonder why. Kobe’s lakers are way much better than Wade’s heat. Yes kobe averages more assists now but if he doesnt pass he’s supposobly a ballhog but if he does pass people say he should shoot more. MAKE UP YOUR MIND!!!

    First of all,

#3: Stop spamming under different names. I only let one through.

As you may have noticed this post is quite old. Personally I only changed my mindset about Kobe just this season (read my post about why the lakers winning more because he now trusts his team mates) Before the playoffs last season I seriously believed everything that blog said.

4: Kobe’s lakers may have a better record now but remember all the injuries the team had to suffer with shaq gone and now Wade. And yet the Heat is still up there. Where’s the ring of this recent lakers squad? Who cares if the Heat had an easier time as part of the weaker East, they still beat the Mavs to do it. Being one of the top teams in your conference is only a matter of the regular season. The playoffs is where it’s at. It all comes down to who has the ring!

Maybe Kobe reads the Kobe Haters Blog and got the message. His team plays better now, with or without him, and also because he finally has learned to pass. Pity, he could be so much greater if only he were less arrogant and more of a team player. Maybe he is down that road now. Good.

I am old enough to have caught commentators wondering at Kobe, in his first two years, hogging the ball and making wild shots. He stated that he was out to break MJ’s record…at a time when MJ was in his prime. Even MJ finally realized that setting records was not the way to a ring. When he finally settled down after breaking scoring records, he played team ball and led the Bulls to their 6-sing spree.
