Suns’ D’Antoni To Coach West All Stars

by Angelo on January 25th, 2007

Suns fans must be happy that they have one heck of a winning streak going at 15 right now and then they get the news that their coach Mike D’Antoni was named West All Stars coach of the 2007 All Star Game in Las Vegas. While the Dallas Mavericks have a slightly better record than the Phoenix Suns, Mavs coach Avery Johnson is not eligible for the All Star coaching position since he already had the honor last season. This must be good news for Suns big man Amare Stoudemire, who has been having a heck of a comeback season and is on his way to what could be his 2nd All Star appearance. Fellow Suns Shawn Marion and Steve Nash are a lock for the team and with the three on the team and D’Antoni at the helm, we’re sure to see all three on the court at the same time for sure to see Suns type basketball against the Eastern Conference stars. This should be fun!

Hmmm…3 Sun players and their coach surrounded by all-stars. Is 200 points possible?
