Poll: Spurs - Dynasty Worthy?
The San Antonio Spurs just recently won their fourth championship and that puts them in great company with the LA Lakers, Boston Celtics and the Chicago Bulls as the only franchises to have at least four titles. But what makes this even more interesting is that they got the four in a matter of 8 years with the first being in 1999. While the Spurs have been criticized that they have never won back to back titles just like how the LA Lakers won three in a row from 2000-2002, winning 4 in such a relatively short period of time is still an amazing feat considering how competitive the league is today. To top it off, the Spurs already have their minds set to win it again next year and they have what it takes to do it too. But as it is, four rings in eight years… dynasty or not?

They are a dynasty. It doesn’t matter if they haven’t won a back-to-back. They’ve been in the running for nine years.

Definitely a dynasty. Only the Celtics, Bulls, and Lakers have won as many times. A great team with great teamwork! Just like the three others that went on to become the greatest.
