Pierce gets praise from Red
Paul Pierce gets the inaugural Red Auerbach Award, an award given to the players who best exemplfies the Celtic spirit. Paul definitely deserves this honor as he is star and the leader of the team. What makes me feel uneasy about this the fact that they didn’t think of giving this award sooner. Giving no offense to Pierce, it feels funny that the bunch of Celtic greats like Russell, Cousy, Cowens and Bird to name a few don’t have this honor as well.
Congratulations to Paul Pierce, for without him the Celtics wouldn’t have had as much to cheer about the past years. He brings the winning attitude even during times of struggle. Now if only Danny Ainge would stop making strange trades…
