Raptors Must Be Happy They Got Him

The Toronto Raptors have buffed up their roster big time this offseason and with some of their players having played in the FIBA World Champs, the Raptors must be very happy with their performance. Slovenian Raptors Rasho Nesterovic and Uros Slokar played decently well, well enough to give the Raptors some hope. Jose Manuel Calderon did a good job leading the offense for the Spanish team but it was Jorge Garbajosa who led the Spanish team to the promised land without star Pau Gasol. Garbajosa’s 20 point 10 rebound performance and his willingness to step up for the team must make the Raptors happy they got him. Perhaps with guys like these, the losing habit the Raptors have had for years past will go away. I’m hoping that the Raptors, like the Clippers last season, will show good signs of success and with this roster I think they just might do it!
