Pistons, Spurs Avoid Elimination. Game 7 Galore!

So the popular prediction of a Spurs-Pistons matchup in the Finals is not yet dead. Both teams were in danger of elimination as the Cavs went 3-2 against the Pistons and the Mavericks went 3-1 against the Spurs earlier in the series. Now, both teams managed to win their games to force a game 7.This 2nd round is really exciting as even the Suns-Clippers matchup will go to a game 7. It’s game 7 galore!
The Spurs won game 6 with a score of 91-86. Tim Duncan had 24 points and 10 rebounds while Manu Ginobili exploded for 30 points. The Pistons won the game 84-84 with their entire starting five save Ben Wallace scoring in double digits. The two former finalists are showing they just won’t go down without a fight, if at all they will go down.
On another note, Cavaliers’ guard Larry Hughes rejoined the team after missing 3 games due to the death of his brother Justin who died due to a heart defect. Hughes suited up and didn’t play. He didn’t expect to play either.
“It wouldn’t be fair to put him in after missing a week of basketball,” Brown said. “We’ve made some changes in what we’re doing offensively and defensively. I don’t have any concerns about him dressing or not.” Source
