Pistons set franchise record
The Detroit Pistons winning record this season just set a new franchise best! With a 64-16 record they top even the 1988-89 team of Thomas, Dumars and Laimbeer that won the franchise’s first championship, only to win it again the next season.
This accomplishment is another one of those things that makes this season special for the Pistons, just like having four of their starters selected to the All Star Team. Go Pistons!

While my heart is with the Spurs again this year, I have a feeling the Pistons will win it this time around. As long as Larry B is not around, i dont mind if the Pistons win. They area good team and play as a team. And they are a far cry from the bad boys of Laimbeer’s time, when the cheap shots came quite often against unsuspecting opponents
