NBA 2006-2007 Schedule Is Out!
So the new schedule is out and there are a lot of exciting matchups you might be looking forward to. Opening day is October 31 where the Miami Heat get their championship rings and then go on to fight their 2006 playoffs first round opponent, the Chicago Bulls who now have a very beefed up roster.
Once again, the Miami Heat will face the LA Lakers on Christmas Day. i don’t know what the huge deal about this is. It was a big thing back then when Shaq first moved to Miami, so the “tension” between him and Kobe was something a lot of people looked forward to. Now it’s not really that big an issue. I say they Heat should fight the Mavericks and the Lakers should fight the Clippers or the Suns on Christmas Day. That sounds more exciting to me.

Heat/Lakers could be the NBA trying to push their version of what the NFL has with the Cowboys and Lions always playing. I would much rather see Miami/Cleveland on a big holiday game or have that day as rematches from the Conference Finals from the previous year.
