Mo-Pete To Sign Four Year Deal With Hornets
Like his college team mate Jason Richardson, Morris Peterson aka Mo-Pete will also change his jersey after spending his whole career in one team - the Toronto Raptors. With the Raptors changing their image under GM Bryan Colangelo, Peterson saw his playing time and productivity fall and probably saw the need to go elsewhere to revive his career.
That place would be the New Orleans Hornets where he will reportedly sign a four year contract. The Hornets could be a nice fit for him since Desmond Mason could be on the way out and Peja Stojakovic has been missing a lot of games due to injuries. Perhaps a new environment is just what Mo Pete needs to revert back to his old self and if he does he will be a nice complement to Chris Paul and company.
