Heat Win Game 4

This situation looks a bit familar. Oh yeah, it looks just like when the Spurs were down 3-1 against the Mavericks in the semifinals. Only the Spurs were able to win the next two games to push a game 7 before losing. So the Heat are up 3-1 against the Pistons and I’ll bring up the old quote from my past posts. “They have three chances to eliminate them, they only need one.” The odds are against the Pistons now.
Yes the Heat are one win away from eliminating the big force in the East, the Pistons. It’s something the Heat had a serious chance of doing last year, until Dwayne Wade got injured. Now the Heat are back in business.
The Heat won game 4 with a score of 89-78. Wade had another awesome scoring night with 31 points while Shaq added 21 points while Udonis Haslem added 16 points. The Heat duo’s hot shooting was too much for the Pistons as their defense didn’t seem like the one we’ve come to know. The Pistons had a chance to win though when a Rasheed Wallace 3 pointer highlighted a big run with 5:03 to go in the third quarter giving the Pistons the lead 57-53. But then the Pistons became silent afterwards while the Heat closed the quarter with a 62-60 lead. The Pistons never led again.
As I’ve said, the odds against the Pistons now and with they way they’ve been playing in this series, expect the Heat to take the next game. If they don’t, the Heat will still have two more chances. Dang! Time to wake up, Pistons!
