Buckeyes Trio To Enter Draft
It is reported that the Ohio State Buckeyes Trio will enter the draft this June. In case that first statement didn’t seem to hit a nerve or ring any bells, this means that this piece of news pretty much completes the list of talent that was said to make this year’s draft one of the deepest ever. With this news comes the top prize, Greg Oden! The Grizzlies and Celtics can breath a sigh of relief as they are the two teams that will most draft him or Longhorn Kevin Durant, another highly prized talent of this year’s draft class.
But enough of Oden. He probably really is THAT good but he deserves a break. Let’s talk about someone else, Mike Conley Jr. Conley has played under the shadow of Oden the whole season in spite of being another talented player himself and is now considered the . he showed that in the NCAA tournament as he was the true hero, the true secret of the Buckeyes Final Four success reaching the Finals. Conley has made a name for himself is will most likely be the first point guard to be drafted in June, practically cementing him as a sure fire lottery pick. As for the third Buckeye, shooting guard Daquan Cook will also enter the draft although I feel that another year in college could do him some more good. it is said that while he is offensively gifted he is quite inconsistent.
It is expected that all three will sign with Mike Conley Sr. as their agent. Conley Sr., father of the Buckeye point guard coached the three over the past few weeks to help them with their decision.
