Bobcats Unveil New Alternate Road Jersey
Finally the Charlotte Bobcats have another jersey! They unveiled their new alternate road jersey August 16, Wednesday. The new jersey is blue (looks kinda gray to me though) with orange, black and silver to line the borders. The new jersey, like all the other jerseys of the Bobcats are very eye catching with those striking colors (especially that bright orange away jersey).
I always get excited when new team jerseys come out because it normally means that the team wants to have a new image, an image of progress and a winning mentality. At least that’s what I see when a team comes up with a new jersey. I remember when the Memphis Grizzlies came up with their new jerseys and a new team logo, GM Jerry West mentioned it was to mark a new era - an era of winning, unlike their past image of losing.
With a healthy Sean May and the addition of Adam Morrison, I hope the Bobcats will show the NBA that last season was a fluke because of the injuries, especially to their star player Emeka Okafor, and that they can go beyond expectations like they did during their debut season.
Another reason I like new jerseys is that I can choose from a bigger selection of jerseys when I play NBA Live. I’m more excited than ever now to play NBA Live 2007 . Can’t wait!
