Bobby Jackson To Leave Grizzlies

Bobby Jackson was a very valuable player for the Sacramento Kings back when he played for them. His ability to play both guard positions allowed for versatility, either coming in to replace Mike Bibby or to play alongside him. He won the Sixth Man of the Year award back in 2003.
Jackson was traded to the Memphis Grizzlies this season for guard Bonzi Wells. After playing one season for the Grizzlies, Jackson wants to leave when the season is over when he will become a free agent. His reason for leaving is that he and Coach Fratello don’t see eye to eye. It’s difficult to work in an environment where you don’t get along with your boss.
Jackson said he was not a fan of Grizzlies’ coach Mike Fratello’s system and criticized the coach for not knowing how to use him.
It’s still not certain where Jackson will end up but whoever gets him will find a great player in him especially if he’s healthy throughout next season.
