Avery Gets A Phat New Contract!
No matter what you say about the Dallas Mavericks last season, for sure they did one hek of a good job. That’s why Dirk got his sparkling new contract extension and that’s why Coach of the Year Avery Johnson got a phat new contract, Johnson’s is a 5 year 20 million dollar contract - a nice reward for a job well done. The contract gives Johnson the financial and job security he needs to focus on his work and to motivate him to get better. Hopefully, Johnsons will be able to replicate the job he did with the Mavs last year. If so, the Mavs will have another stab at that title for sure.
