All Star Injury Replacement Selection
As you know the All Star Game roster is selected with the fans voting for the starters while the coaches select the reserves. Given any injuries to the roster, the NBA Commissioner David Stern has to name the replacement. I’ve been thinking about why Stern has the sole responsibility for this. Don;t you think it really shouldn’t be his job? The reason I think this is the principle of subsidiarity - matters ought to be handled by smallest authority possible. In other words, why should Stern handle it if other competent lower authorities like the coaches can handle it for him?
The coaches select the reserves anyway so why should an injury replacement be any different. It doesn’t make the selection any less valid anyway. It’s easy enough to do. The coaches vote for who makes the reserves for the team anyway. Sorry for those who didn’t make the cut but there are only so many slots. But whenever there’s an injury they just select the next one on the list. They don’t need Stern for that. This way the selection of even the injury replacements will seem less like the decision of just one man but of a collective will of the coaches.

this Comment for the All-Stars and that i Want to Replacement for Kobe Bryant and that Because Kobe is Hurttin Not that Bad.but He Has a Pinkie Finger injury but He Needs a Good Replacement but for Kobe Bryant is Manu Ginobili please.but One thing Remove David Robinson for Manu Ginobili for the Shooting Stars but He Can do All the Moves but for Him He Can do the Drain in three’s but for Every Night that He Can put up Points please Put Him in the Shooting Stars but He Likes His team to Win tonight.

Manu is deserving, but the choice is not mine.
Manu certainly explained to the Cav’s why he is deserving.

Can you Mr.David Stern that if Steve Nash is Out Can you Make this a a Good Replacement for Steve Nash is Mr.Manu Ginobili for Steve Nash and that i Need that Answer please.and this is from Mr.Richard Lee Ochoa.
